I have always been and still am a registered Democrat. Yesterday’s ridiculous proceedings made me pretty made me pretty much intensely dislike Howard Dean even more. We should have never even had a question of whether our FL votes would be counted. We voted in this state to choose Hillary as the nominee, and that’s that. I got tired of writing to Dean and the DNC and telling them they had violated my constitutional right to vote and that I was ready to campaign and help out this year, but frankly, I am so disgusted by the DNC that if Hillary is not the nominee I will do nothing–that will be my sad statement. My shameful statement. But not as shameful as the DNC’s actions. I not only do not support Obama, but I don’t trust him, I have issues with some of what he has done, and most of all he just talks change and it is Sen. Clinton who has proven herself as a powerhouse and a leader.
If there’s one thing the Democrats know how to do, is lose an election that is right in their hands. All the DNC has done is divide the party, pissed off Hillary supporters, lost possible campaign funds due to arrogance and stupidity, and basically made me and many others frustrated. How dare they even tell me once that my voice does not matter? Isn’t this what elections should be about?
Even with its disappointments, mistakes, mismanagement, etc., I have always been proud to heck the box “Democratic Party” when I register and to vote Dem at elections. I have become more and more disgusted with the actions of the DNC and especially with Howard Dean which I have no choice to consider a pompous ass.
Sen. Clinton has overwhelming support from many Americans. She has won the big states, ones that can give us the presidency. She is experienced, knows how to “do” politics, and is more than just talk. I couldn’t support her more than I already do nor be prouder that she is MY candidate . And up until Election Day, whatever happens, she will still be my candidate.
I will absolutely not vote for a Republican candidate. But as I have said many times before, I cannot, in good conscience vote for Obama. It goes against too much of what I strongly believe in and goes against too many of my principles for me to even consider it. A vote for him would be a vote against my own self, and I cannot do that and keep my head held high.
So, I support my candidate 100% and continue to do so. If she is not on the ballot, one way or another, if she continues to be treated unfairly and maligned by her own party, then I will no longer be proud to be a liberal Democrat, once again encounter a situation where my voice is called meaningless, and I will absolutely
not engage in all the campaigning and volunteering I was so excited to be able to do b/c finally here we were, ready to take back the WH from the worst president in the history of the US. I was ready to fight. The DNC doesn’t care and even has had the nerve to ask me for money. No.
Hillary Clinton has my complete support and always will. She should be the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. This is no joke, this is serious. It is about the future of my country and my future as a citizen of this country. Right now I don’t feel much like a citizen.
