Apt? check
Furniture coming together? check
Car? supposed to come through on Monday (tentative check).
Now all I need is a JOB so I can pay for the apt, the furniture, and the gas for the car. Must. Make. Money. and Want. to. Make. Money. in MarCom. Still applying, still met with silence.
Today I went to WalMart to buy a bunch of essentials (plus found 2 furniture items that I needed and I like them). The nice people at WalMart helped me load the entire car. I chatted with them, with the nice guy cashier, etc. They actually helped me, willingly, at their own suggestion, and loaded all the small bags not just the 2 heavy furniture items.
What I spent at Walmart is actually close to what my rent is. Which means that I spent a lot at WalMart but also that I like my rent price. I went to the apt beforehand to see what all I might need and the place has a great layout and lots of space and tons of windows (I’m on 2nd floor) and light yellow walls. Plus, I can paint whatever I want so I will finally have a dark orange/terracotta wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway . . . FOR HIRE.
In the meantime, I think tomorrow I’m headed to the beach. Gotta put that beach towel I bought to good use, after all. Plus, having carried super-heavy stuff up the very narrow outdoor metal stairs. . .I need to sit and look at water and read and not do anything else for a few hours.
So far. . . so good. Again, though: NEED JOB!
